ojobox: the curious lens of memory

To remember this is like looking backwards
through a telescope
trumping the rules of depth of field.

shipwreck baroque

In my travels I have discovered  the decadent palette of Shipwreck Baroque
a driftwrack of color rinsed by the sea of centuries- blue shadows green stone scarlet wind-
scrawled on the walls of men by salt and fire and bone.
From Rome to Cartagena, a gallery of ancient tides lit by street lamps.
